i sit here,

waiting for my 100th coffee of the day

thoughts of you keeping me on my toes,

a small smile played on my lips.

the man, 

i'll be meeting in a bit.

the man,

who had no idea i'm head over heels for him.

the man i wanted to spend the rest of my days with

though reality sings a different tune

- in fact, that's what i told him,

time and time,

pushing him away,

telling him to go

...yet here we are

and here i am, 

waiting for him

he's just around the corner.
