writings from a messy head

we all have days where smiles and laughter come freely to us. also days when getting out of bed seems to be the hardest thing to do. or even days where you laugh your heart out on ellen degeneres' videos but then find your heart going back to the very thing draining the life out of you.

sigh.

so i decided to put it into words.

a jumbled mess.

but today, it is all i've got.

Writing # 1

i am nothing 

but a glass jar

see through

nevertheless,

the wall is there

i am fragile

with cracks all over

but i have yet to break

i keep to myself

like i always do

but then you came along

i never intended for more

but

it happened

i let you in

maybe you see that it was not what you expected

were you

overwhelmed?

underwhelmed?

you never did tell

you kind of just left

leaving me to fend for myself

you left.
